The Slightest Touch Took My Breath Away

How insight flowed from pain

On a bright August day, an accident stepped in and forced me to halt my life plans. My solid world was suddenly made of sand. As long as I was awake, I was in pain. The roles in our family were flipped as I surrendered daily tasks. I used to be the one who helped everyone else. Not now.

For months I asked:

  • Why has this happened to me?
  • When things be normal?

My medical team emphasized that there was no guarantee. I might return to “normal” or I might not.

It took time but one day I realized that my constant wondering wasn’t helping.

Sand castle of dreams that can crumble

Especially with a family that wasn't going to let me sit around!

My husband had purchased theatre tickets months before the accident. As the date approached I wanted to stay home; he insisted that I join the family. The compromise? We rented a wheelchair and got me inside the theatre. As I sat in the darkness I saw dancers move as if they could fly, in the space I started to feel better. That ray of hope grew. I started reconnecting with old friends and tapped into a profound level of gratitude and humilty.

Slowly I started to heal.

After three years it was as if I was reborn.

Does my story sound familiar?

At some point we realize that life feels like traveling through a labyrinth.

Each one of us has experienced an event that alters our plans.

If we are lucky, we get the chance to rebuild and shift things around.

I have found that recognizing our internal narrative is critical to making progress. It’s that part of you that resists.

This is where the power of working with someone changes the dynamic. When we meet we open the door to support that multiplies.

Labyrinth

I am excited to show you how special you are

When we work together a space opens that allows new things to happen. That’s when you notice a change.

Are you ready to find your compass, own it, and use it to write a new narrative?

In my youth, I thought that destiny was a matter of luck. It took a serious life-changing event to realize that I have my own inner Compass.

You do too.

Working with Maria was deeply insightful and inspiring. I learned things about myself that rang true but that I had not put words to before. Maria's insight through astrology was an added bonus she provided guidance on how to use it. This was a true gift that helped me with some big life decisions.

Her caring, experienced perspective and presence made me feel seen and at home. I whole-heartedly recommend working with Maria as her compassionate presence and expertise offer precious guidance and a clear understanding of the many elements at play in our lives at any moment.
I recently completed an Astrology reading with Maria and must say that I entered with a healthy sense of skepticism. She was so gracious and understanding of my hesitancy and reassured me that my reading would be based on fact-based astronomy, and she has a great way of introducing new concepts without overly complicating them.
Maria offers guidance in a very participatory way, so this turned out to be a revelation in my life journey! And I found the readings particularly useful at this juncture where I am transitioning to a new career, learning more about my strengths as well as my opportunities to adjust and adapt my approach to things. The entire process was spaced out beautifully allowing me to fully digest the information and the graphics and visual tools were great. It was worth the investment for sure and I highly recommend Maria as a partner in helping to identify your life path and purpose.
